Not only had 6th class to help guide other classes during table tennis takeover as playground leaders, but they also played a huge part in preparing the event.
In this term, 6th class are studying procedural writing. Mr. O'Beirne decided to put their skills to the test, while also allowing them to engage in some team building.
Each group was given the task of building a Spyder Pong Table. Provided with the instructions, the main net, 7 poles, 6 legs and multiply corner and connector pieces, they certainly had there work cut out for them. They were also challenged to design some inclusive game variations, so that all students could enjoy the activity.
