Our schools is already home to a selection of interesting habitats. However, one of the most obvious habitats missing from our school garden is a pond.
Mr O’Beirne’s 6th class were happy to take on this project. They spent this week researching how to develop a micro pond in our school garden.
Today they began digging the site for the water feature. It was a tough job but the boys really enjoyed working together on it.
They plan to continue work on this next week.
